About Senior Living

Twenty-five years ago as seniors aged they essentially had two ways to meet their long-term care needs:

1) stay in their own homes and do the best they could or,

2) go to a medically oriented nursing home.

Today a wide range of housing and services exist to help the elderly meet their diverse needs, from home health, to adult day care, to residential care. These options are often referred to as the “continuum of care”. But — until they need it — most people are unfamiliar with the gamut of programs and services available for seniors. The continuum of care can seem like a maze.

It is our hope to provide on this website a wealth of information so seniors can better understand how, when and what to access in the spectrum of long-term care. We also hope this material helps guide adult children and other loved ones who find themselves assisting seniors with this type of decision-making. Please browse our sites and get in touch for more information.
