My husband Gary has been attending The Club Carmichael Park because his cognitive impairment made it unsafe for him to be at home alone and because he needed the social interaction during the day while I’m at work. The memory day care program has a variety of activities so that participants do not become bored doing the same thing day after day. In addition, the activities are modified so that each participant can be successful in the activity. My husband look forward to going to the program.

It takes a great deal of planning to provide this type of day care program and I appreciate it. The staff creates a special environment for adults and have made it possible for them to have positive and productive days. It also is a positive experience for the caregivers. I can go to work knowing that Gary is safe and happy.
